The physicians and staff of WCS are dedicated to promoting women’s health and self-esteem to females of all ages. We feel that a woman’s outlook on life, physical and mental health, happiness, confidence and general well-being start at a very young age. Through many years of experience in providing personalized care to women in our practice it has become evident that a female’s perception of herself directly affects her health. We strive to empower our patients with the tools they needs to live a long, happy, healthy life and now we are reaching out into the community to extend that same empowerment to young girls that are not quite ready to see an OB/GYN yet.
- On Saturday, May 9, 2015 our staff and physicians will be sponsoring a Girls on the Run (GOTR) event.
“The Mission of GOTR is: Girsl on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience based curriculum which creatively integrates running”.
WCS will have a booth at Runner’s Village and will have some staff there for a meet and greet and to pass out some goodies, other members of WCS will be participating in the 5K run and others will be doing the Fun Run just prior to the start of the 5K. Some staff members are also bringing their daughters along to motivate and encourage them towards making healthy life choices as well. We would love to see some of you there and we encourage you and your daughter ot stop by our booth or look for us among all of the other runners.
